“HEAR MY PRAYERS”
Church bells chime in F with orchestral chords resolving to the key of C. John holds a dying Helena in his arms. There are muffled claps of thunder and lighting in the skies.
Helena I love you………
Helena dies, and John weeps as all bystanders circle around in shock.

John Hawthorne Helena?
Helena!
God, no!
Please, no!

She was always in your hands, I’ll get along somehow.

I promise she will not have died in vain.
The priest with Luisa and Waterbug show up and come from the crowd near John and Helena. The priest administrates the last rites.
Hear my prayers, Oh Lord. Please give me a clue.
If this is my destiny, show me what to do.

Waterbug there must be a gain.
